Both sides of the Pennines. Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team provides a search and rescue service on the northern half of the North York Moors in the North East of England. Their operational area covers about 1000 square kilometers with their 50 voluntary members being on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Team, like all UK mountain rescue teams is a charity and must raise around 25,000 a year in order to operate.

Available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Volunteers spending 1500 hours per year on rescues. A registered charity solely funded by voluntary contributions. Annual operating costs of 60,000. See the team in action.
